Sky Christopherson & Datameer

With doping becoming more common in sports, Olympic cyclist Sky Christopherson set out to find a natural way to achieve breakthroughs in performance for athletes. Using quantified health tools and data analytics software like Datameer, Sky helped train the the women’s US track cycling team in the 2012 London Olympics. The improved performance allowed the team, who were five seconds behind the qualifying time, to qualify and win a silver medal. I had such an amazing time working with Sky and Datameer on this story. Sky provided such great training footage that he recorded and gave me the opportunity to film some footage for his documentary film, “Personal Gold”.
